REPLACE STRUCTURAL EXPANSION JOINTS PIER 3

Pier 3 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard is built in sections and has a utility tunnel, between each section are expansion joints. Over time, the concrete has deteriorated and needs to be repaired. Art Anderson designed the new concrete and the expansion joints. We paid particular attention to the products that would be placed on the pier. The environment – salt water, rain, etc. – has an impact on the longevity of the construction. The product chosen could endure the elements.
