Patrick has served as project manager and a waterfront/civil engineer during his time with Art Anderson. His experience includes environmental planning; restoration; compliance projects; facilities master planning; and the planning, design, and construction of a wide range of ventures.

Since coming to Art Anderson in 2004, Patrick has been involved in planning, design, management and environmental compliance for waterfront infrastructure projects, such as ferry terminals, marinas and industrial infrastructure. Notable project successes include:
- Planning, design, permitting, & construction of Kingston Passenger-only Ferry Terminal
- Waterfront infrastructure design for the multi-phase Vallejo Ferry Maintenance Facility (FMF)
- Port of San Francisco’s Pier 52 boat launch in Mission Bay
- Development of Community Involvement program in conjunction with the Navy Superfund Cleanup Program for Navy Region NW
