WAPATO PARK PUBLIC ACCESS PIERS & FLOAT DESIGN
Our engineers designed two new ADA compliant piers at Wapato Park in Tacoma. Wapato Park lies in a beautiful setting of lake and forest and features a walking rail around a lake. The new piers will used for viewing wildlife, fishing and feature a new kayak launching float and gangway. Our scope of work included value engineering, environmental permitting, design, and construction support services for replacement of two piers, installation of a new kayak launching float and gangway, installation of new paved pathways, shoreline stabilization, and shoreline permitting.
