The USAV Worthy is a Missile Range Instrumentation Ship operated by the United States Army. The existing bridge mast needed modifications to shorten the height, reposition it forward, and design a new access staircase and platform to the pilot house. After a ship check to verify existing structure and conditions, our team designed the requested modifications.

Our team provided the structural drawings and Trim & Stability Book/Intact Stability updates for the vessel. To update the intact stability analysis, our team had to reproduce the original wind profile and calculations since we did not have native files. Art Anderson completed a weight change calculation and submitted to ABS in support of the stability update.
