We’re Welcoming Our Newest Team Members! Art Anderson, multidisciplinary engineering services firm, is pleased to announce the addition of two summer interns and a Construction Manager to our team.
Art Mitchell – Construction Manager
Art Mitchell is a Construction Manager with 20 years of experience and is already set to start working on the NOAA Manchester Campus Addition project, set to start construction this summer. His portfolio also includes high-profile commercial renovations and tenant improvements, such as Union Bank headquarters, Verizon Wireless retail locations, and healthcare facilities. In his role, he leads project planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration, consistently delivering high-quality, cost-effective results while ensuring compliance with local codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements.
James Sanchez – Mechanical Engineer Intern
James recently graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. With a strong interest in collaborative problem solving, James is eager to gain hands-on experience and explore how engineering challenges are addressed in professional practice. During his internship, he will support project teams while developing practical skills and industry insight.
Tyler Mendes – Naval Architect Intern
Tyler is an incoming senior at SUNY Maritime College, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture with a minor in Nuclear Engineering. Inspired by a lifelong background in competitive sailing, Tyler has developed a keen interest in marine design and vessel performance. He will be working with the firm’s Marine Engineering team, where he looks forward to contributing to real-world projects and learning from experienced professionals.
