Art Anderson is hiring an Electrical Engineer! We are seeking a motivated MEP Electrical Engineer to join our collaborative team of professionals. We design systems both on land and at sea, serving a mix of commercial and government clients. We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, sustainability, and innovation in engineering design.

Position Overview

The Electrical Engineer will perform power system load analysis and design for diverse facility and infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop reliable, code-compliant electrical solutions and support construction and client coordination throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States (Washington preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • S. citizenship (required for access to military bases)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Experience performing power system studies (load flow, fault current, arc flash)
  • Familiarity with SKM Power Tools or similar analysis software
  • Secondary accreditations (LEED, RCDD, etc.)
  • Project or client management experience
  • Interest or experience in business development and proposal writing

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $125,000 – $155,000 (DOE)
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match
  • 9 paid holidays, plus vacation and sick leave
