CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES FOR NAVFAC

BANGOR NAVAL BASE KITSAP, BREMERTON, WA

Art Anderson provided construction management support services in support of FEAD NBK Bangor for the construction of the new Explosives Handling Wharf (EHW-2) and three other new facilities, and the hardening of another building that were impacted by the explosive arc of the new EHW-2.
Construction management support services included participation in project quality control, prep and issues resolution meetings, routine site visits to review project progress and resolve contractor questions, review of technical submittals and RFIs, review of project schedules and pay request applications, development of change order request scope of work and follow-on technical analyses of contractor cost proposals, assisted with punch list inspections, verification of systems testing, and related project closeout requirements. Also provided constructability reviews and assisted with facility/tenant coordination related to telephone/data and security systems.
